A video course: you watch. SchoolRegistry Academy: you do the job, your work is checked, a coach guides you, you finish with proof employers can verify.
SchoolRegistry Academy is an online school for adults who want skills for work. There are two kinds of course. Short courses take a few hours and teach one skill, like Excel or using a computer. Career tracks take 10 weeks with a coach and prepare you for a kind of job. You can learn from Nigeria, from elsewhere in Africa or from abroad. The October 2026 cohort offers these career tracks: lead generation, customer service, social media management, virtual assistance, Tier-1 IT support, virtual bookkeeping, virtual medical administrative support, data analysis, recruiting and HR coordination, truck and freight dispatching, security operations, home care and caregiving, project coordinator, project manager, and applied AI building. A track can be taken with a cohort, or as a self-paced track with no live classes and coach feedback online. A SchoolRegistry Academy certificate needs the published completion rules, the full fee paid and an 80% overall result. Training, scholarships and certificates do not guarantee a job, clients or income.
Which short courses are open?
These short courses are open now: Computer Basics: Zero to Confident (₦10,000), Excel 1: Excel for Work (₦10,000), Excel 2: Bigger lists and lookups (₦12,500), Excel 3: Reports and dashboards (₦15,000), Excel 4: Automate the boring parts (₦17,500), Word 1: Word for Work (₦10,000), Word 2: Long documents (₦12,500), PowerPoint 1: Clear slides (₦10,000), AI 1: AI for Everyday Work (₦10,000), AI 2: AI in your job (₦12,500), AI 3: Build with AI tools (₦15,000), HTML 1: Your first web page (₦10,000). Each is paid once, and you keep the course for 12 months. You can try free lessons from them before you pay. You pay by bank transfer for now, and your course opens once we confirm the transfer, usually within one working day. The other short courses are coming soon. Press "Coming soon, get notified" on any of them and we will tell you when it opens. The free course Getting Ready to Be Hired is open now too.
A bundle is a set of short courses for one price, lower than buying them one by one: Excel bundle ₦45,000 (₦55,000 separately), Word bundle ₦18,000 (₦22,500 separately), AI bundle ₦30,000 (₦37,500 separately), Office Starter ₦32,000 (₦40,000 separately). One payment opens every course in the bundle for 12 months. If you already own a course in the bundle, you pay the bundle price less what you paid for that course. Half of what you pay for a bundle comes back as credit toward a 10-week career track. The credit comes off the track fee at checkout, works with paying in full or in two parts, and expires 90 days after your bundle payment is confirmed. Credit from several bundles adds up. A bundle goes on sale when every course in it is open.
When does the next career track cohort start?
The next cohort starts October 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM WAT (Lagos time). The start time is not the time of every weekly live class. You confirm those when you enrol. Every start date is on the calendar page.
Can I start a career track today instead of waiting for a cohort?
Yes. The self-paced track has no cohort dates and no live classes. You learn on your own schedule with coach feedback online, you start the day you pay, and you keep access for 12 months. It is priced from ₦260,000. It suits people who cannot join a weekly class, and it is a choice of style, not a lesser option. Founder's Scholarship awards and sponsorship do not apply to a paid self-paced seat; the free scholarship is the exception and includes self-paced places on 10 entry-level tracks. The certificate rules are the same as the cohort.
No. The fee covers one complete 10-week track: ₦200,000 for most tracks; ₦250,000 for Virtual Medical Administrative Support, Data Analyst, Truck & Freight Dispatcher, Home Care and Caregiving and Project Coordinator; ₦275,000 for Applied AI Builder; ₦375,000 for Project Manager. Each track has its own lessons, quizzes, weekly assignments, live practice and final assessment. Other tracks are separate enrolments.
Can I pay for a career track in two parts?
Yes. You can pay in full, or choose two equal payments at checkout. On a ₦200,000 track that is ₦100,000 twice. On a ₦250,000 track it is ₦125,000 twice. The second payment is due 3 weeks after the first. These amounts are for one track.
Can I start without experience?
Yes. The career tracks begin with the basics. You should be able to communicate in English, use a computer, practise regularly and act on feedback. If you are new to computers, start with Computer Basics. Each track page lists what that track needs.
What do I need to take part?
Plan for a computer, a headset, reliable internet and a quiet place to practise. Leave time for a lesson of about an hour each weekday, practice in the playground, your weekly assignment and one live working session a week. Hours and practical work are different on each track.
How does a career track work?
You do the job before you get the job. Each track has a made-up company built for it, like Bluewick Studio for analysts, Ledgerline Books for bookkeepers, Greyfern for security analysts and Redline Carriers for dispatchers. They are fictional and checked so that no real business is copied. You get your own student work email from day one, where work from that company arrives. The track ends with two weeks of timed practice shifts, marked the way an employer would mark you. Work comes back with comments and you fix it until it is right.
These tools all work today. We say what each one cannot do, so you know before you enrol.
A practice workplace for your track. Practise decisions, records, calls and handovers in simulations built for your track.Every track has one. What you practise is different on each.
Your own and team task boards. Organise your work, move tasks along and see who is waiting on whom in group work.Class work can be shared. Work you create stays private unless it is given to a team.
AI study help. Ask questions about the lesson without leaving it.It explains. It does not do your assignments, mark your work or replace your tutor.
Feedback and a second try. Use your tutor's comments, say what you changed and send a better version. Both your first and second versions stay visible for review.
A record of your skills and a portfolio. Link marked work to the skills it shows and keep the best pieces in a private portfolio.Sharing it is your choice, and you can stop sharing at any time.
A readiness check. Check your English, computer basics and readiness for a track before you commit. It helps you prepare. It does not promise a place, a certificate or a job.
Low-data options. Use transcripts, notes and lighter video where they exist.Captions and lighter video are still being added across the lessons.
A calendar. See your lessons, your weekly live class, deadlines and your next task in one place.Reminders are optional. Live class details go to students in the cohort.
Can I see a lesson before I pay?
Yes. Below is a real lesson from Lead Generation and Appointment Setting. It is one lesson from one track, not a preview of every track. Every career track page also has its curriculum and a short walkthrough of its practice workplace, with no sign-up.
SchoolRegistry Academy issues the certificate when you meet your track's assessment rules. That means knowledge checks and practical tasks, not just watching lessons. Each certificate has its own ID and a public page where anyone can check it. It is not third-party accreditation.
A job is not guaranteed. The Academy teaches and tests skills. Getting hired depends on your work, what employers need and what roles are open. Remote roles with US clients may be contract work rather than US employment.
You can apply for a Founder's Scholarship before you enrol. Every application is reviewed, and awards depend on the budget available. Family, employers and other supporters can sponsor a named learner, choose a learner who agreed to be listed, or give to the general scholarship pool. Sponsors get a reference and a receipt, and the learner sees the support taken off what they owe.
Yes. Get the free Remote Work Starter Kit, join the list for a free online demonstration, or read the facts about fees, assessment and certificates on our trust page. Schools, NYSC groups, mentors and career networks can use the partner kit. You can also compare the Academy with ALX, N-Power and Utiva, or answer a few questions to find a track that fits you.
