Watch a real lesson

This is lesson one, recorded in the course exactly as a learner sees it. The lesson talks you through each step, checks your work in the practice scheduler and gives you a hint when you are stuck. Turn the sound on.

Who it is for

How a lesson works

  1. 01Listen

Each step is narrated and written out: what to do, and why it matters on a real project.

  2. 02Do it

You make the change yourself in the practice scheduler, beside the lesson.

  3. 03It checks your work

The step reads your file and only moves on when the schedule is right, with hints when it is not.

  4. 04Ask why

A coach explains why a date moved, using your own schedule, not a generic answer.

You learn on two small projects that grow with you: a backyard shed and a kitchen remodel. By the end you have scheduled, updated, resourced, priced and defended them, and merged a subcontractor's schedule into your own.

Questions

Do I need Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project installed?

No. Every lesson runs in a practice scheduler in your web browser, built for this course. It works the way the professional tools work: activities, relationships, calendars, the critical path, baselines, resources, cost and progress. When you later sit at Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, the skills carry straight over.

Is this an official Oracle or Microsoft course?

No. SchoolRegistry Academy is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Oracle or Microsoft, and this is not an official training or certification for either product. We name the tools so you know which skills the course teaches.

Do I need experience in scheduling?

No. Lesson one starts with an empty project and explains every word the first time it appears. Engineers, site staff, quantity surveyors and project coordinators move faster, but nobody is assumed to know scheduling.

How long does it take?

About 20 hours of lessons across 38 lessons. At an hour a day most learners finish in four to six weeks. Your access lasts 12 months, so you can go back to any lesson.

What computer do I need?

A laptop or desktop with Chrome, Edge or Firefox and a steady internet connection. On a phone you can listen to the lessons and answer the checks, then do the hands-on steps when you are back at a computer.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Pay ₦495,000 at once, or in two payments of ₦247,500, the second three weeks after the first.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. When you finish the lessons and pass the closing project, you receive a SchoolRegistry Academy certificate with a public verification link. It shows what you can do. It is not an Oracle or Microsoft certification.

What if I get stuck?

Every step has hints, and a coach you can ask why a date moved or what to do next. The coach answers up to 25 questions a day, which is plenty for steady study.

Is a job guaranteed?

No. The course builds your skills and checks them as you go. Getting a job depends on your effort, the employer and the roles available.
