Try the no-sign-up exercise ↗SchoolRegistry Academy’s Social Media Management course is an eight-week online programme for beginners and career changers in Nigeria. First, students learn to connect brand goals to content plans, calendars and a consistent voice. Second, students practise responsible community responses, client communication and performance reporting. Third, tutor-reviewed assignments, revisions and a final campaign plan create evidence of applied social-media judgment. The October 2026 cohort follows a daily study plan with Friday live practice. Certification requires the published completion rules, full tuition coverage and an 80% overall result. The course does not promise employment, clients, audience growth or campaign performance.
Ask academic questions in the lesson player. The assistant uses lesson context but does not answer assignments or grade your work.
Manage personal work and participate in assigned team tasks with columns, dependencies, comments and history.
Use tutor feedback, explain your changes and resubmit while the original and revised evidence remain available for review.
Your assessed portfolio is private by default. Sharing is optional and revocable. Available learning-media formats depend on the lesson; caption and low-bandwidth processing is still being completed across the library.
Build a habit of learning, applying, and improving. Each part of the week gives the next one a purpose.

The four pillars of the job, the core vocabulary — reach, impressions, engagement rate, CTR — reading and writing to a real brand voice, community management, complaint de-escalation, content calendars, and honest reporting.
Hooks, captions that drive real engagement, and the anatomy of a post that stops the scroll instead of getting scrolled past.
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn each covered on their own terms — format, algorithm behavior, and audience expectations specific to each.
Reading organic versus paid performance correctly and building the kind of report a client trusts enough to keep renewing.
Handling a viral negative moment or a real PR-adjacent situation — when a complaint stops being one customer and starts being a visible pile-on the whole account has to weather.
Running a multi-platform queue without errors and reading a real performance dashboard the way a manager, not a fan, reads it.
Running one real brand's account for a full simulated week — calendar, publishing, community management, and reporting, all at once, under realistic time pressure.
Written exam, a graded mock client account, and a practical reporting task — pass all three to certify.
Keep the curriculum, fees, start date, and study checklist in one handy course guide.

No. Your own follower count has nothing to do with this work — you're not building your own audience, you're managing someone else's. What matters is the ability to read a brand's actual voice and reproduce it convincingly, which is exactly what Week 1 is built around.
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X all get direct attention, including the real tone differences between them — the same brand genuinely needs to sound different on LinkedIn than on TikTok while staying recognizably itself, and Week 3 covers each platform on its own terms.
No. The course teaches you to source and lightly edit real customer or client-provided visuals, write captions, and manage a calendar and a scheduling tool — not to produce polished video or design work from scratch. Design and video skills help on some accounts, but they're not a requirement to start or to certify.
