DIRECT ANSWER

What will you learn in social media management training?

SchoolRegistry Academy’s Social Media Management course is an eight-week online programme for beginners and career changers in Nigeria. First, students learn to connect brand goals to content plans, calendars and a consistent voice. Second, students practise responsible community responses, client communication and performance reporting. Third, tutor-reviewed assignments, revisions and a final campaign plan create evidence of applied social-media judgment. The October 2026 cohort follows a daily study plan with Friday live practice. Certification requires the published completion rules, full tuition coverage and an 80% overall result. The course does not promise employment, clients, audience growth or campaign performance.

BUILT AROUND PROGRESS

How the Academy supports your progress

01 / ASK

AI study support

Ask academic questions in the lesson player. The assistant uses lesson context but does not answer assignments or grade your work.

02 / ORGANISE

Practical task boards

Manage personal work and participate in assigned team tasks with columns, dependencies, comments and history.

03 / IMPROVE

Feedback and revision

Use tutor feedback, explain your changes and resubmit while the original and revised evidence remain available for review.

Your assessed portfolio is private by default. Sharing is optional and revocable. Available learning-media formats depend on the lesson; caption and low-bandwidth processing is still being completed across the library.

A stronger

From the foundations to your final practical assessment, each stage builds on the last.

A clear standard at every step.

Module quizzes check understanding before you move forward. Final certification includes written and practical assessment.

01WEEK 1Foundations+

The four pillars of the job, the core vocabulary — reach, impressions, engagement rate, CTR — reading and writing to a real brand voice, community management, complaint de-escalation, content calendars, and honest reporting.

02WEEK 2Writing Content That Performs+

Hooks, captions that drive real engagement, and the anatomy of a post that stops the scroll instead of getting scrolled past.

03WEEK 3Platform Deep Dives+

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn each covered on their own terms — format, algorithm behavior, and audience expectations specific to each.

04WEEK 4Paid Social & Client Reporting Specialization+

Reading organic versus paid performance correctly and building the kind of report a client trusts enough to keep renewing.

05WEEK 5Advanced Crisis Response & De-escalation+

Handling a viral negative moment or a real PR-adjacent situation — when a complaint stops being one customer and starts being a visible pile-on the whole account has to weather.

06WEEK 6Scheduling & Analytics Mastery+

Running a multi-platform queue without errors and reading a real performance dashboard the way a manager, not a fan, reads it.

07WEEK 7Full Simulation+

Running one real brand's account for a full simulated week — calendar, publishing, community management, and reporting, all at once, under realistic time pressure.

08WEEK 8Certification+

Written exam, a graded mock client account, and a practical reporting task — pass all three to certify.

A certificate.

SchoolRegistry Academy certification is assessed through knowledge and practical tasks—not simply time spent watching lessons.

MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE

Is this your
next step?

A good fit if you…

  • You can write convincingly in someone else's voice, not just your own — the actual skill here is disappearing into a brand's tone, vocabulary, and personality, the way a voice actor becomes a character, not showcasing your own creativity.
  • You're genuinely comfortable being told to follow a plan someone else approved — this job is disciplined execution against a content calendar and a voice guide, not posting whenever inspiration strikes.
  • You don't panic at a public complaint — you want to learn the actual method for acknowledging a frustrated customer specifically, moving the real fix to a DM, and never arguing in public, so one bad comment never turns into a pile-on.

Plan for the practicalities.

A computer, headset, reliable internet, and a quiet place to practice will help you participate. Check the live-session schedule before enrolling.

Future US-client work may involve afternoon or evening hours in Nigeria.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Do I need my own large following to do this job?+

No. Your own follower count has nothing to do with this work — you're not building your own audience, you're managing someone else's. What matters is the ability to read a brand's actual voice and reproduce it convincingly, which is exactly what Week 1 is built around.

Which platforms does this actually cover?+

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X all get direct attention, including the real tone differences between them — the same brand genuinely needs to sound different on LinkedIn than on TikTok while staying recognizably itself, and Week 3 covers each platform on its own terms.

Do I need graphic design or video editing skills to start?+

No. The course teaches you to source and lightly edit real customer or client-provided visuals, write captions, and manage a calendar and a scheduling tool — not to produce polished video or design work from scratch. Design and video skills help on some accounts, but they're not a requirement to start or to certify.

When does the cohort begin?+

October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM WAT (Nigeria). Confirm the recurring Friday-session schedule in your enrollment information.

Is a job guaranteed?+

No. The Academy develops and assesses skills. Employment depends on your performance, employer requirements, and available roles.

What does the fee include?+

₦200,000 covers this track. You can pay in full or in two ₦100,000 installments, with the balance due three weeks later. Review the handbook and checkout terms before paying.
