Using the Platform
SchoolRegistry NG is a directory of Nigerian schools and a set of tools built around it, operated by Academic Support Services NG Ltd (RC 9416237), Ikeja, Lagos. Browsing the directory, searching it and reading our guides costs nothing and needs no account. An account is needed to claim a school profile, to enrol on a SchoolRegistry Academy course, or to use features that save your work. You are responsible for what you do with an account in your name, and for keeping its sign-in details to yourself. We may suspend an account that is used to impersonate a school, to post content about identifiable children, or to scrape the directory at a scale that affects other users. If we do that, we will tell you why.
School Records
A listing is a record, not a recommendation. Most records exist because the school appears in a public register, not because anyone has assessed it, and appearing here is not an endorsement by us. Our figures come from four sources we keep separate: public records, submissions from schools themselves, our own editorial research, and corrections sent in by users. Fees shown as a range are frequently an estimated band rather than a figure quoted by the school, and are labelled as such; the school is the only authority on what you will pay. Performance rankings are editorial judgements built from published and submitted results, because WAEC does not publish results school by school. Verification means we have checked that the person controlling a profile represents the school, not that we have audited the school. Please confirm fees, dates and requirements with the school before you commit money.
User Contributions
Reviews, corrections and other contributions stay yours, and by posting them you allow us to publish, edit for length and clarity, and keep them available on the site. We remove contributions that identify a child, that make allegations we cannot verify, or that appear to come from the school about itself. Removal is about whether something can be stood behind, not about whether it is favourable. A school may reply to a review publicly and we publish the reply alongside it. If you believe something about you or your school is wrong, use the correction route and we will check it against its source rather than simply taking it down.
Limitations
We work to keep the register accurate and we correct what is reported to us, but we do not warrant that every record is complete or current, and school details change constantly. Nothing here is admission advice, legal advice or financial advice, and a ranking is not a guarantee of any outcome for any child. Where we link to an official portal, that portal's own terms govern what happens there. We are not responsible for a decision taken solely on information from this site without confirming it with the school or the examination body, which is why we ask you to confirm. Fees paid for SchoolRegistry Academy courses are governed by the enrolment terms shown at checkout, including what happens if you withdraw. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Schools wanting to claim or correct a profile should write from an address on the school's own domain where possible, because it is the quickest route to verification. Data questions, including requests to see or remove personal data we hold, go to the same address and are handled under our privacy policy. We update these terms when what we do changes, and the date of the current version is shown on this page.
