JAMB practice questions and mock exams

Practise for the JAMB UTME on your phone or laptop. Take a timed mock paper that follows the shape of the real computer-based test, work through one topic at a time, or try ten quick questions when you only have five minutes.

Every question is written to the JAMB UTME syllabus. These are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, and SchoolRegistry is not connected to JAMB.

Questions people ask

Are these real JAMB past questions?

No. Every question is written fresh to the JAMB UTME syllabus and checked before it goes live. They are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, so you learn the topics and the pace. SchoolRegistry is not connected to JAMB.

How many questions are in a JAMB mock paper here?

Use of English has 60 questions in 40 minutes. Every other subject has 40 questions in 27 minutes. That is about 40 seconds a question, the pace of the real computer-based test.

Is JAMB practice on SchoolRegistry free?

You can start with Quick 10 without signing in. Mock papers and topic practice need a free Academy account. Nothing on this page is behind a payment.

Which JAMB subjects can I practise?

Use of English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Government, Literature in English and Christian Religious Studies. More papers are added as they are checked.

Do I need an account to practise JAMB?

No account is needed for Quick 10, which gives you ten questions straight away. Mock papers and topic practice need a free SchoolRegistry Academy account, so your scores are saved and you can see which topics to work on.

Can I use it on my phone with a weak connection?

Yes. The next few questions load ahead of time, so a slow connection does not stop you mid-question. If the connection drops, your answers stay on your phone and are sent when it returns.

Do I see why an answer is right?

Yes. After each answer in practice mode you see the correct option, a short explanation and, for calculations, the working. In a mock paper the marking and explanations come at the end, as in the real exam.

What if I think a question is wrong?

Every question has a Report a problem button. Your note goes to the review queue, and questions that are reported often or answered correctly far too often are checked again and pulled if needed.
