Confirm the decision it serves and what done looks like: leads, deals won, cost per lead.
A number without a decision behind it is a report nobody uses.
Copy to staging, fix each class of problem, and write every change in the cleaning log.
Never edit the raw export.
Trace the gap to its cause before anyone sees either number.
A total that does not reconcile is not finished.
Two paragraphs: what happened, what it means, what we suggest checking.
Honest reporting is the whole product.

Try the no-sign-up exercise ↗SchoolRegistry Academy’s Data Analyst course is a ten-week online programme for beginners and career changers in Nigeria. First, students learn to scope a request, clean an export with a log, and summarise with averages, rates, pivot tables and trends in Google Sheets and Excel. Second, students practise SQL in a sandbox, charts whose title is the finding, and dashboards in Looker Studio and Power BI, on Bluewick Studio, a fictional US marketing agency whose numbers stay consistent all course. Third, tutor-reviewed assignments, a two-week practicum on the Bluewick analyst desk and a capstone create evidence of applied analytical judgment. The October 2026 cohort follows a daily study plan with one live class a week. Certification requires the published completion rules, full tuition coverage and an 80% overall result. The course does not promise employment or income, and it is not a Microsoft or Google certification.
Ask academic questions in the lesson player. The assistant uses lesson context but does not answer assignments or grade your work.
Manage personal work and participate in assigned team tasks with columns, dependencies, comments and history.
Use tutor feedback, explain your changes and resubmit while the original and revised evidence remain available for review.
Your assessed portfolio is private by default. Sharing is optional and revocable. Available learning-media formats depend on the lesson; caption and low-bandwidth processing is still being completed across the library.
Build a habit of learning, applying, and improving. Each part of the week gives the next one a purpose.

The shared Career Readiness course covers your LinkedIn profile, résumé, interview practice, and getting paid as an international remote contractor. Describe practice honestly as training—not employment.
The SchoolRegistry Academy certificate proves you did the work: the ten weeks, a supervised practicum and a capstone with zero critical errors, verifiable by any employer on our public verification page.
Many US postings for reporting analysts ask for Power BI, and Microsoft issues the PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification for it. By Week 5 you will have built the Bluewick dashboard in Power BI Desktop, and Week 8 explains what the exam tests and how to prepare for it with your own work.
Together they answer the two questions a hiring manager asks: can you do the work (our certificate, assessed), and does the software vendor recognise your product knowledge (PL-300). One proves the skill; the other proves the tool.
PL-300 is issued and governed by Microsoft, not by SchoolRegistry Academy, and the exam carries a fee set by Microsoft; the learning material is free. We prepare you and show you the process, Microsoft awards the credential.
