NCLEX-PN practice test

The NCLEX-PN is the licensing exam for practical and vocational nurses, built on the same client-needs framework as the RN exam but at the scope of practice of an LPN/LVN. The bank here follows those categories.

120 practice questions, 1 full mock paper, each 120 questions in 3 hours. Topic practice breaks the same bank down by exam domain, and the quick test gives you ten random questions with no account.

Every question is written to the NCSBN NCLEX-PN Test Plan syllabus. These are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, and SchoolRegistry is not connected to NCSBN.

What the questions cover

NCLEX-PN (all eight client-needs categories)
The NCLEX-PN questions cover coordinated care, safety and infection control, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, basic care and comfort, pharmacological therapies, reduction of risk potential, and physiological adaptation, weighted the way the real exam weights them.

Questions people ask

How many questions are in the NCLEX-PN paper?

One practice paper of 120 questions, plus practice by client-needs category and a free ten-question quick test. The paper is marked at the end with an explanation for every question.

How is this different from the NCLEX-RN bank?

Same framework, different scope. PN questions stay inside what an LPN/LVN is licensed to do, so delegation, assessment and care planning are tested at that level rather than the RN level.

Are these official NCLEX questions?

No. They are written to the NCSBN PN test plan in the style of the exam. NCSBN does not release live items.

Is the practice free?

The quick test is free with no account. Category practice and the full paper need a free Academy account, which saves your scores by category.
