CompTIA A+ practice test
The CompTIA A+ is the first certificate most IT employers ask for, and it comes in two exams: Core 1 on hardware, networking and mobile devices, and Core 2 on operating systems, security and troubleshooting. This is practice built around both, with an explanation after every answer.
720 practice questions, 8 full mock papers, each 90 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes. Topic practice breaks the same bank down by exam domain, and the quick test gives you ten random questions with no account.
Every question is written to the CompTIA A+ 220-1101 / 220-1102 syllabus. These are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, and SchoolRegistry is not connected to CompTIA.

Questions people ask
How many questions are in the CompTIA A+ practice papers?
Each Core paper has four full mocks. Every mock is 90 questions in 90 minutes, which is the pace of the real exam, and marking with explanations comes when you finish.
Do I need to buy Core 1 and Core 2 separately?
No. Both are here, each with its own mock papers, topic practice and quick test. Work through Core 1 first and sit Core 2 once you are scoring comfortably, because the real A+ is two separate exams.
Are these official CompTIA A+ past questions?
No. Every question is written to the CompTIA A+ 220-1101 / 220-1102 syllabus rather than copied from the real exam, which is not published. The style, wording and depth follow what the exam asks for.
Is the practice free?
The ten-question quick test is free with no account. Topic practice and full mock papers need a free SchoolRegistry Academy account, which also saves your scores so you can see which areas still need work.
Can I practise on a phone?
Yes. The papers, the timer and the question navigation are built for a phone first, and a practice session survives a dropped connection: answers are kept on the device and sent when you are back online.
