CompTIA Network+ practice test

The Network+ is the certification that proves you can build, secure and fix a network, not just describe one. The questions here are grouped the way the exam groups them: concepts, implementation, operations, security and troubleshooting.

360 practice questions, 4 full mock papers, each 90 questions in 1 hour 30 minutes. Topic practice breaks the same bank down by exam domain, and the quick test gives you ten random questions with no account.

Every question is written to the CompTIA Network+ N10-008 syllabus. These are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, and SchoolRegistry is not connected to CompTIA.

What the questions cover

Network+ (N10-008)
The Network+ questions cover networking concepts, network implementation, network operations, network security and network troubleshooting, weighted the way the real exam weights them.

Questions people ask

How many questions are in the Network+ practice papers?

The Network+ bank holds four full mocks. Each is 90 questions in 90 minutes, marked at the end with an explanation for every question.

Which exam version are these questions written to?

N10-008, the current Network+ exam. Domains and their weights follow that blueprint, with troubleshooting carrying the largest share because it does on the real exam.

Are these official CompTIA Network+ past questions?

No. They are written to the N10-008 syllabus, not taken from a real paper. CompTIA does not publish past questions, so any site claiming real papers is selling you something else.

Is Network+ practice free?

A ten-question quick test is free and needs no account. Topic practice and the full mocks need a free Academy account, which saves your scores and shows your weakest domains after each paper.

Should I take A+ before Network+?

Not always. If you already work with networks, start with Network+. If you are coming in fresh, A+ Core 1 covers the hardware and addressing ground that makes the Network+ material land faster.
