Free Lead Generation and Appointment Setting training scholarship in Nigeria

Book real appointments for US companies. This self-paced career track is worth ₦260,000 at regular prices and is free for scholars. You start any day, there are no live classes, you get coach feedback online, and you keep access for 12 months.

You will not be asked to pay anything at any point, including for course materials, practice exams or certificates.

What you will learn

A ten-week certificate course in outbound cold-calling and appointment setting: cold-call fundamentals, objection handling, and CRM discipline, taught the exact way it's done inside a working call center today.

  • Cold-call structure & disposition tracking
  • Gatekeeper vs. decision-maker identification
  • Objection handling (10 real objections)
  • Discovery questioning without a script
  • Contractor-trade specialization (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical)
  • De-escalating an angry prospect
  • CRM logging & performance reporting
  • Connect rate / show rate tracking
  • Multi-touch follow-up cadence
  • Real mock-call assessment

Eight weeks at a glance

  1. Week 1: Foundations. The funnel, the vocabulary, call anatomy, and why delivery carries as much weight as content.
  2. Week 2: Discovery & Qualification. Running a real discovery conversation without ever sounding scripted.
  3. Week 3: Objection Handling I. The ten objections you'll hear again and again: and the feel-felt-found framework that actually works.
  4. Week 4: Advanced Objections & De-escalation. De-escalating an angry prospect and running a real multi-touch cadence.
  5. Week 5: Contractor Trades Specialization. Selling into HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical with real urgency framing.
  6. Week 6: CRM Mastery & Reporting. Logging a call correctly and reading a performance report the way a manager does.
  7. Week 7: Full Simulation. Sustaining a realistic shift's dial volume, remote-work discipline, cross-cultural rapport.
  8. Week 8: Final assessment. Written exam, three graded mock calls, and a practical CRM task: pass all three to certify.
  9. Week 9: Practicum, part one. Three timed shifts on Brightline Dialer, with spoken calls from fictional homeowners. Items arrive the way they do in a real shift; every action is graded against the rules of the job.
  10. Week 10: Practicum, part two. Three more shifts including a downtime drill, a peer review of another student's work, and a tutor-marked final. Passing needs zero critical errors.

Who this track suits

  • You're comfortable on the phone, or want to be: this trains that comfort deliberately, starting from real fundamentals, not assuming you already have it.
  • You want the fastest path into a recurring, remote income stream with US clients: appointment setting is one of the highest-volume categories US companies actively outsource.
  • You don't want a script you memorize and recite: you want to actually understand why a real conversation works, so it holds up when a real homeowner goes off-script on you.
  • You're comfortable being told "no" dozens of times a day and want to get good at not taking it personally: because the psychology of why a fast no fires is literally Week 3 material.

Questions people ask

Is this only for home-service trades like HVAC and plumbing?

No. You'll specialize in trades in Week 5 because the demand there is real and urgent, but the exact skill you're building transfers directly to real estate, solar, healthcare, and B2B software: anywhere a business books appointments from cold outreach.

I get nervous on the phone. Can I actually do this?

Week 1 starts from the actual fundamentals: the vocabulary of the job, the anatomy of a call: assuming zero prior comfort with cold calling. The nervousness itself is addressed directly in Week 3, which covers the psychology of why rejection stings and how to stop absorbing it personally.

What does the CRM training actually cover?

Week 6 teaches you to log a call the way a real manager expects: clear notes, correct outcome tagging, next-step scheduling: and to read a performance report and understand what it's actually telling you about your own work.

Is the Lead Generation and Appointment Setting scholarship really free?

You will not be asked to pay anything at any point, including for course materials, practice exams or certificates.

What do I have to do in return?

Complete the first module of your track, Week 1, within six weeks of being accepted to keep your place. Then share your certificate and leave a short review.
