Questions people ask
How many questions are in the JAMB Use of English mock?
60 questions in 40 minutes, set at the pace of the real exam. Marking and explanations come when you finish.
Are these real JAMB Use of English past questions?
No. Every question is written to the JAMB UTME syllabus. These are practice questions in the style of the exam, not official past questions, and SchoolRegistry is not connected to JAMB.
What does JAMB Use of English practice cover?
It covers comprehension, summary, cloze passages, reading text, sentence interpretation, antonyms, synonyms, basic grammar and oral forms.
Do I need an account to practise JAMB?
No account is needed for Quick 10, which gives you ten questions straight away. Mock papers and topic practice need a free SchoolRegistry Academy account, so your scores are saved and you can see which topics to work on.
Can I use it on my phone with a weak connection?
Yes. The next few questions load ahead of time, so a slow connection does not stop you mid-question. If the connection drops, your answers stay on your phone and are sent when it returns.
Do I see why an answer is right?
Yes. After each answer in practice mode you see the correct option, a short explanation and, for calculations, the working. In a mock paper the marking and explanations come at the end, as in the real exam.
What if I think a question is wrong?
Every question has a Report a problem button. Your note goes to the review queue, and questions that are reported often or answered correctly far too often are checked again and pulled if needed.
