Questions people ask
Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is opened and read inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
It says my PDF has no text. Why?
Some PDFs are only pictures of a page, for example a scan or a photo. There is no text inside to read. Ask the bank or the sender for the original PDF, or for a clearer copy, and try again.
The columns are in the wrong place. What should I do?
Tap a column letter, then choose Join with next column, or Split column. You can also delete rows you do not need, such as page titles and page numbers. The table changes straight away, so you can see the result before you download.
Will it work for every bank?
It works when the statement has real text. Banks lay out their statements differently, so the first result is a good start and not a promise. Compare the closing balance with your original statement before you rely on it.
Do I get numbers or text in Excel?
Amounts such as 1,250.00 or (500.00) become real numbers, so you can add them up. Dates stay as text, because day and month order differs between statements. You can switch the number option off if you want everything as text.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The table scrolls sideways. A laptop is easier if the statement is long.
