How to Reprint JAMB Slip
Three different documents get called a JAMB reprint and people search for all three under the same word, so start by knowing which one you need. The examination slip shows your centre, date and session and is what you print before the exam. The result slip shows your UTME score and is what most institutions ask for during screening. The original result is the one JAMB releases separately, and it is what you need for NYSC and for some employers years later. Each is printed from your JAMB profile after you sign in, and whichever you need, the route is the same: go to JAMB's own portal, sign in with the email and password you registered with, open the e-facility area and choose the print option for that document.
What to Check
Before you print anything, check the year and examination type on the page in front of you, because a profile holds every year you have ever registered and printing the wrong one wastes a trip to the business centre. Check your name is spelt exactly as it appears on the certificate you will present with it, since a mismatch between your JAMB slip and your WAEC certificate is one of the most common reasons screening stalls. Check the registration number against your original registration printout. And print more copies than you think you need: screening, hostel allocation and clearance each tend to want one, and the portal is not always reachable on the day you discover that.
Exam Day Checklist
Take the printed examination slip, not a photograph of it on your phone, because many centres will not accept a screen. Take the identification named on the slip. Arrive early enough that transport trouble is not an examination problem, and know your session time rather than assuming you are in the morning group. Leave anything that could be mistaken for an aid at home, including a smart watch. If your centre or session has changed since you first printed, the version on the portal is the one that counts, so re-print in the days before rather than relying on a copy from weeks earlier.
Common Problems
The most common problem is not being able to sign in, usually because the email used at registration is not the one you remember using. JAMB's own recovery route, using the phone number or email from registration, is the only safe way to fix that: a CBT centre or a JAMB state office can help, and nobody who offers to retrieve your profile for a fee should be paid. The second most common is paying and seeing nothing, which is almost always confirmation lagging behind the payment rather than a failed payment. Keep the receipt or the payment reference, wait, and try again before paying twice. If a result is withheld rather than missing, that is a different situation and is resolved through JAMB directly.
