Yukon University for Nigerian students

Whitehorse, Canada

By far the cheapest Canadian option open to us, at roughly a third of what Ottawa or Waterloo cost, and Canada's only university north of the sixtieth parallel. Small, practical and vocational rather than academic.

We can apply to Yukon University for you, free to your family.

We prepare and submit the application, check your documents and follow up with the university. You pay us nothing; the university pays us when a student enrols. We never promise admission or a visa.

Worth knowing before you apply

Whitehorse is remote and genuinely cold, the catalogue is 18 courses rather than hundreds, and most of it is diploma and certificate level, which matters for the post-graduation work permit. Ask us about the permit rules before choosing a course here, because that is where this choice is won or lost.

A UK application needs your passport, WAEC or NECO with the scratch-card result, or your transcript and certificate for a master's, two references on letterhead, a personal statement, and proof that you can fund the course. Start with the references and the bank statements; they take longest. The visa application itself is your family's own, prepared with our checklist.

How Pathways is paid, and what we never promise

Placement is free to families. Universities pay SchoolRegistry a fee when a student we place enrols. It never changes your fee and it never changes which programme we recommend: the shortlist is ordered by fit, then refusal risk, then cost to you, and that rule is printed with every list. We do not promise admission or a visa, to anyone. Pathways is operated by Academic Support Services NG Ltd (RC 9416237), Ikeja, Lagos; write to pathway@schoolregistry.ng.

Where these figures come from

Course counts, fees and intakes read from our partner application platform on 5 October 2026, and converted at the live exchange rate shown above. Universities change fees at least once a year and catalogue entries can lag an intake behind, so the university's own page is the authority: Yukon University fees and funding. Tell us if you find a figure here that has moved.
