Sterling Bank proposes 444 bed student hostel partnership with AAAU
A bank has proposed building a 444 bed student hostel for African Aviation and Aerospace University to support growing accommodation needs. The university management welcomed the proposed public private partnership and said it would support infrastructure development.

Sterling Bank proposed a strategic partnership with AAAU to develop a 444 bed student hostel.
“Sterling Bank Plc has proposed a strategic partnership with the African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, for the development of a 444-bed capacity student hostel to support the University’s growing accommodation needs.”
The Sterling Bank delegation was led by Ruth Ailiya, Regional Education Portfolio Manager for Abuja and North Central.
“The banking team was led by the Regional Education Portfolio Manager, Abuja and North Central, Ruth Ailiya, and was received by the management team of AAAU, led by the Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, Ph.D.”
The bank expressed willingness to provide full financial backing for the hostel through a public private partnership arrangement.
